The Schools: Kingfisher, OK has some of the best schools in the state. Gilmore Elementary is consistently in the top percentage as far as State scores. Our high School has the number one vocational program in the State, and our Middle School is also tops in the State. But what makes the schools great is the faculty. Our teachers are extremely passionate about their jobs, and take great pride in making sure the kids are taught correctly. Our kids encouraged to be the best they can be. The faculty at the schools here in Kingfisher are top-notch and take care of our children as if they were their own.
Recreation: No town is complete without having top-notch recreational activities. Here in Kingfisher we have The Briscoe Sports Complex. An outdoor sporting facility with several baseball fields and soccer fields. We also have the Vernie Snow Aquatic Center which is an indoor Olympic size pool. We also have several parks including a skating park and, and a museum too.
